So, any ideas for what to do with one's parents and younger (14 and 16 years old) siblings in the Twin Cities? I'm so used to living here as a single student-type person that I have no idea what there is for families to do. It doesn't help that Jenna and David are at particularly difficult ages, as far as family activities go. We're well past the point where the Children's Museum would amuse them, I'm afraid. I can't even remember what I liked to do when I was their age. I'm pretty sure that it didn't involve "family fun," thus placing us back at square one.

On Monday my Dad wants to drive out to a state park in Wisconsin. When I lived at home, that's exactly the kind of thing I hated-- outdoorsy shit, appreciating nature, blah blah. Hello, blase high school attitude. Now that I've a) lived in a city for 3 years and b) ceased to be "subjected" to outdoor activities on a regular basis, I'm actually kind of looking forward to it. Of course, maybe I've just blocked out how much I truly hate insects, and I'll come back a raving anti-nature maniac.

On a meta note, I've set a June 1st deadline for redesigning this. Happy anticipation!
